Zach Kennedy brings over 10+ years of experience in cellular and telecommunications. Since 2012, Zach has worked in multiple positions growing his skill base and professional relationships. Zach started in the industry in 2012 as a fiber splicer, since he has grown his career to hold supervisor, project management and fiber construction project manager positions. Zach not only has proficient knowledge in technical installation, testing and repairing optical fiber, he also has extensive experience in permitting requirements, equipment specifications, and contract agreements. Zach has been recruited to work on every major carrier project that has passed through Cox Communications in the last 5 years and specializes in troubleshooting and fiber infrastructure problems. Specifically, Zach has built or managed the builds of over 1M miles of fiber infrastructure through the build and splice of 27 fiber rings, over 500 individual cellular sites for several major cellular provider projects, 37 cellular hub locations, and the build of dedicated fiber rings. Zach has worked on commercial business, residential, dark ring, fiber to home and carrier projects throughout the duration of his career. He has worked with leadership as a key contributor to fiber splice training programs implemented across the different enterprises he has worked on and built cost analysis programs for annual forecasting. Due to Zach’s contributions, he has been awarded several certificates of achievement recognizing him for his contributions in his field.
